ULTRASONIC DISINFECTION
They are suitable for combinations of already existing equipment such as UV or ozone systems, both as an “up-stream” or “down-stream” installation. The aim is to deactivate microorganisms and pathogens, as well as to reduce or prevent the formation of biofilms in liquids.
The use of high-performance ultrasound generates intense cavitation forces that break up/burst the cell structure of host organisms (cyst clusters), destroy single-celled organism (such as legionella or other pathogenic foci of infection) and prevent any further cell division.
The ultrasonic plants are scaled and equipped in regard to the respective requirements, depending on the requested specification. Due to the modular design, there are many optional technical designs and variants available. For example, one or two-staged for continuous throughput or operation process with adjustable sound system, as well as different ultrasonic powers or frequencies, etc.
A separate testing laboratory for contaminated samples is available.
Important: there is no concentration or formation of remaining biological/chemical pollutants in the liquid.
Fourth cleaning stage: to deactivate pathogens during cleaning processes
