ZERO LIQUIDE DISCHARGE
Zero fluid leakage
Especially in process and/or plants where the treatment objective is not to pollute the environment with highly concentrated liquids, it requires a “Zero Liquide Discharge” solution.
An example of this: By using reverse osmosis, salt water is turned into drinking water, whereby the dissolved salt crystals are retained by a semi-mobile membrane by means of pressurization. This means that the remaining liquid is highly concentrated salt countered (ratio 40PERM : 60BRINE) and returned to environment
Especially in sensitive areas or where aquifers serve as feed, solutions with “Zero Liquide Discharge” are an interesting topic and approach. Of course, this is also the case wherever toxic or highly concentrated chemical substances remain in the residual liquid and have to be disposed of in a costly manner.
For these applications we can offer a highly efficient evaporation technology with recondensation, which not only relieves the environment, but also reduces the follow-up costs of the necessary final treatment (remaining solids with residual moisture) to a minimum.
