DBA FILTER BAG DEWATERING
Filter version with compressed-air loading
Filtration and dewatering takes place in two stages, by means of gravity and by applying compressed air. The first dewatering process takes place when the filter bag is filled at the machine. The second stage when the filter bags are stored outdoors (but protected from the rain in pallet storage).
Outdoor storage should last at least 12 months to cover all seasons, especially the winter months, and to achieve an optimal degree of drying.
This largely energy-free drying system was developed primarily for decentralised wastewater treatment plants up to approx. 3,000 p.e., preferably for tourist areas where there are strong fluctuations and seasonal partial utilisation.
Winter/summer operation considerably promotes the free drainage process (TS ≥ 90%) outdoors. This is predominantly due to the fact that during the winter months (period of sub-zero temperatures) a state of aggregation from liquid to solid occurs and therefore icing occurs on the filter fabric, which then supports the evaporation process at plus temperatures.
Due to the reduced sludge quantity (from approx. 20% to 90% dry matter content), the disposal costs are considerably reduced.
Standard models are available with 2, 3, 6 or 12 filter bags with matching polymer stations including charging units, guaranteeing a flawless filling and dewatering process.
Optional: exhaust air treatment
