ULTRASONIC DISINFECTION WITH FILTRATION
Ultrasonic filtration means a filtering process under increase of pressure.
Once a preset counter pressure is reached, the ultrasonic cleaning and backwashing of the filter elements starts automatically.
The microfiltration is aligned upon 10, 15, 20, 25 µm separation shafts, depending on the particle size. This type of filter technology is mainly set up in colloidal conditions to discharge/relieve downstream RO membranes, as well as to prevent scaling and biofilm formation/fouling on the membrane filter surfaces.
Wherever disinfection takes place or microorganisms, viruses or bacterial clusters shall be prevented, an ultrasonic application is coherent (makes sense) and economic.
