MICRO-BELT FILTRATION

The micro-band filter was designed as a circulation precoat filter for the separation of fine particles from municipal or industrial waste- or process water.

Depending on the application and requirements, you can choose between different designs and sizes.

Installation variants:

• Free-standing version, with completely closed exhaust air connection
• Channel version designed as a single or collector module
• With or without solids drainage and discharge

The filtration of the solids occurs by depositing the substances to be separated against the rising micro-belt filter.

When a layer is formed on the rising micro-belt filter, then an additional, secondary fine filtration of very small particles that are smaller than the perforation of the micro-belt filter is produced. This is automatically controlled by a level control measurement and, depending on the inlet load, the speed rotation of the filter belt is changed by means of a frequency converter.

The level of separation of the solids and the performance of the hydraulic throughput can also be increased by choosing the adequate mesh size of the filter belt.

For the optimization/increase of the separation quantity the following options are available:

• a vibro version, which increases the solids concentration in the precoat chamber.
• a vacuum application during the belt cleaning for a faster cleaning of adhering solids.
• a standard belt cleaning, optionally compressed air or water/high pressure and hot water, depending on the availability on site.
