ROTARY SCREEN

Remove solids from wastewater by means of fine screening

It is used wherever solids are to be removed from the wastewater by means of fine screening (0.6-2.5 mm) in order to reduce the solids load of the downstream treatment stages and thus relieve them.

Due to the round perforation, fine screening has the advantage over sewage rake (steps or longitudinal slot systems) of dimensionally defined separation. Fibrous materials or elongated narrow solids (such as ear sticks) are retained and separated much more efficiently.

The precoat principle is supported by the rotating screen drum. The solids that enter with the wastewater into the screening drum, remain in the screening chamber as long as they are conveyed to the solids discharge by the internal screw conveyor.

Optionally with exhaust air connection and exhaust air treatment
